2016 Ford F-150 Torque Converter Replacement in Bowling Green, KY

Our customer has a vehicle with a rumble trip type feeling when going almost any speed. If you keep up with our articles, you will know what this means. TORQUE CONVERTER (TC)! The customer calls me on Friday, 07/12/24, asking for some information. Come to find out this man was quoted over $3,500 from the dealer for a torque converter replacement and service! That is absolutely bonkers, its over double what it cost here at Wholesale! Needless to say, he came by and we got to looking at his 2016 Ford F-150. On the test drive we were able to diagnose that the problem was indeed TC related. After discussing with the customer some more I discovered he was in a rental until his truck was working properly, we can't have that for long!

So, what do we do? As soon as the truck cools down enough to work on it, we got it on the lift and went to work. One of our lead R&R Techs, Michael, had the transmission out by the following morning. Using the identification tag on the TC itself, we ordered the part. Since we ordered before 10am, we were able to get the TC in on the same day! Michael, being an awesome worker and person overall, decided he would stay late to insure we got this mans truck to him as quick as possible. We don't want our customer being forced into a rental for several days if we can avoid it! So, in roughly 48 hours we were able to get our customers truck back to him. To say he was happy with his Transmission Repairs is a bit of an understatement, he can now pack his kids up for school in Bowling Green, KY. All in a days work!
